Back in August 2010 I went to Turquoise Resort Hotel & Spa (as reviewed here: www.rossmilne.net/turquoise-resort-hotel-spa/)
Well at the end of last week, (a little late, but as they say better late than never!) I received a Christmas Card from the hotel, of which is the first time I have ever received anything from a hotel by post after I had stayed there and thought this was a very nice touch for the hotel to do.
Since I had got this, I was looking back at video’s I had taken from my time I was at the hotel and do have some that I was still working on / not uploaded.
Below you can see a small video I have made using a mix of pictures and video from the hotel, showing how lovely the hotel is and why I would recommend the hotel to anyone to go to, infact I am even planning on going back this summer!
On the last night of my holiday at Turquoise Resort Hotel and Spa, this was what must of been the best show of my holiday!
This Is It a show which was tributed to Michael Jackson.
The show was so good with great dancing from the Animation Staff of the hotel, below you can see videos from the show.
I will also post soon, another great show The Lion King which was also done by the Animation Staff of the hotel.
At all of the shows I had seen durring my stay at the hotel, I could not fault any of the shows at all.
With this show, This Is It, it has great dancing by all of the Animation Staff of the hotel of which you can see in the videos on this post, the very last video, shows who the animation staff were at the hotel, so you will know to look out for them if you were to ever go to the hotel!
While I was staying at Turquoise Resort Hotel and Spa, on one of the nights of my stay the hotel had put on a ‘Comedy Show’ with a few diffrent Comedy Sketch’s including Robin Good – I take from the Rich to give to the Poor
You can see the videos from the shows in the bellow videos.
Not that long ago I posted I had just come back from my holiday to Turkey and posted a video of the hotel Club Dance (http://www.rossmilne.net/?p=413)
Well I thought that I would just share a bit about the hotel it’s self now.
Turquoise Resort Hotel & Spa is a lovely hotel in Side / Sorgun built in a pine forest that goes right out to the sea and not that far away from Antalya Airport.
The hotel has a total number of 479 rooms, based on standard rooms, sea view rooms, villa and more!
One of the best things about the hotel is the swimming pools, it has a number of pools around the complex with one big main pool where some activities take place as well as that a pool with 3 slides!
There is also plenty to do for people of all ages of children (AND adults!) where the kids can take place in the Children’s Club’s and for the Adults / Teenagers the Animation Team also have plenty for you to do including, Darts, Archery, Water Polo and ALOT more and you will never be bored.
There is also a number of restruants for everyone to eat in includeing a couple of A-la-cart (4).
The entertainment, dose not just stop at durring the day, at night they put on a diffrent show each night to be sure to keep everyone entertained, of course this starts off with the mini disco then its onto the evening shows where you will see some great ones from Comedy Shows, The Lion King and This Is It and even more! (videos of some of these will be coming very soon!)
My thoughts on this hotel is that it is a perfect hotel for anyone to go to of all ages, even for single travelers out there, it will not take lont to meet new and great people.
The staff at the hotel are always very niec to chat to, and for that I find that great as they love to have a chat with out!
The rooms are very nice, I was in a single room myself and still found this to be very good and the size of the room was very good even for just the one person!
There is plenty of food at the hotel each night for you to have with a good choise as well to suit everyone!
This is a hotel I would love to go back to maybe next year as loved it so much, with it being a great hotel, with where it is, the staff and the quality you get.
I would highly recommend this holiday to anybody who is thinking of going to this part of Turkey.
Recently (this morning infact!) I came back from a short break / holiday to Turkey, staying at the lovely Turquoise Resort Hotel and Spa. (more of which will come soon as well as more videos of my holiday)
The above video is infact the hotel ‘club dance’ which takes part each night after the show!
During our holiday in Turkey one night we went for a Dinner Show to see ‘Talk of the Town’
Some people when you first hear about it think it will just be a Drag Show with only Singing, oh how wrong!
The show did involve singing yes, but it also included some Comedy as well as Dancing.
Every week the cast of the show change the whole show so each week is different, which in away is good but also a way to make people come back to see the show (and believe me it would be worth going back to see if you are in Turkey for 2 weeks twice as is very very very good)
The cast who were in the show had come from England and brought all their cloths all the way over from England to Turkey just for the show!
I would give this show 10/10 and highly recommend the show to anyone who would wish to go!
Back in June, 2009 I went on a holiday to Turkey with some friends of mine.
This was the very first time I had been to Turkey and must say it was a great time.
We stayed in Club Turban, located in Marmaris
The hotel was so lovely, it had its own private beach, daily entertainment durring the day and night, its own Turkish Bath as well as a large number of other features.
The swimming pool was very big and as well as that away from the main pool (just a short walk) the hotel had its own 2 slidies and 1 small slide for children!
The hotel was built around tree’s which gave it a nice feel as well as provided some shade from the very hot weather of Turkey.
Below is a video I have put together with some pictures and videos of sights around the hotel.
My Hotel Review, also on TripAdvisor
Having just returned from Club Turban for a 11 night holiday I had a wonderful time!
The hotel is one of the best hotels I have been to.
In the Main Lobby they have the Lobby Bar which is open 24hrs and serving alcohol from 10am – 2am.
There is also 2 other bars in the hotel during the day, one by the pool and the other by the beach (which is open till 1am)
We had no problems getting Sun Loungers at the pool as the hotel had plenty of them and were able to go down to the pool in the afternoon and still get a sun lounger!
The hotel also had there own onsite shop, hairdressers and internet café where you could get on the internet for 5 Turkish Leira
The hotel also had its own private beach with is a stone beach and not a sand beach and also has some great views.
There is a very good Entertainment Team at the hotel providing entertainment during the day and night starting at 10am and then at night they also have a different show each night, the entertainers are very skilled and every night it is them who provide the night entertainment to the guests ranging from dancing, singing and comedy as well as improvisation.
There were many different nationalities at the hotel and not had a problem with any of them.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is severed as a Buffet unless you decided to go to one of the 3 A’la Carte Restaurants on-site which you get 1 visit to (you can go more than once for an extra 15 Turkish Lira per person)
The room I had was very spacious and could not fault it.
I did not find one thing wrong while staying at the hotel, after reading some bad reviews on the hotel I was worried before I went to the hotel, but after getting there had such a great time and would go back again and also have been recommending the hotel to family and friends to go to.
