911: First Responders

It has been a while since my last ‘Game Review’ so what better time to do it than now (since I do have some free time!)

911: First Responders

With this game you are at control acting as different ’911′ Services including, Fire, Police, Ambulance, Bomb Squad and more!

The object of the game?

Well this is actually very simple, all you need to do is use your emergency services vehicles to respond to an event that has taken police, you never know what it will be or when it will happen which makes it more fun so at one point you can be dealing with an armed robber to a major fire!

The game is also great because you can use it on Multiplayer on the Internet or through LAN (so suitable if you use Hamachi (will be reviewed later))

The great thing about the game is that its easy to use, the graphics are also good (ok not as good as all the up – to – date games but are still great!

The downside I find however if for Multi-Player you can only have a max. of 4 players and no more but at times 4 players is enough.

When playing Multi-Player it is very important to communicate with each other at a incident.  When I play on Multi-Player I always find it better as well if one person takes responsibility for one emergency service.

I would rate the game 7/10 mainly due to the graphics and restriction on amount of people you can have in Multi-Player.

Rockband – The Beatles

Today, I decided that I should purchase Rockband – The Beatles (Game Only) after last week buying Guitar Hero 5

As soon as I got home I decided that I should give the game a go (even if I was good or bad!)

I was very impressed with the songs that come with the game of which one of my favorite songs is on it, A Hard Day’s Night.

The sound as well as the graphics are very good in the game and very impressive.

I found the game very easy to use for all the song choices (saying that I did play EASY mode!) but even at that its still great!

Another great part of the game is you can play it over XBox Live! which I have not yet tried due to my subscription being expired but as soon as re-newed I will be sure to give at a try.

For those who love The Beatles as well as those who love the Guitar Hero / Rockband Games, I would highly recomend that you give this game a go as well as I am sure you will love it!

For now that is all, you can catup with me at live.rossmilne.net

Guitar Hero 5

Well today I decided that I would go out and buy Guitar Hero 5!

I have had a few games of this now and already I am finding it addictive, I used to have Guitar Hero for my Playstation before I got rid of the Playstation and even then I started to find it addictive.

I find with Guitar Hero 5 it is allot better, great graphics as well as that has quite a few good choices of songs which makes it even better!

I am still finding my way with playing it as it is not that easy but I am sure when I get used to it I will wonder why I complained about it not being easy.

I have so far played about 3 songs on it which were the ‘easier’ songs to play so I can get used to playing as well as getting used to the buttons etc

I can see that the game would be even more fun if you had friends around, that is if you had a guitar, bass guitar, drums and mic you would all be able to join in the fun of the game but for me I only have the Guitar as for the life of me cant sing as well as that didn’t want to spend the money to purchase the full band kit.

I found it easy to setup and in the kit it came with the Guitar Hero 5 Game, Guitar, all important batteries as well as instructions (which I just didnt read!)

i just had to put the batteries into the guitar, switch on the xbox and then switch on the guitar and that was it it more or less sync’d with the xbox after the push of the 2 sync buttons.

I do feel like I will end up going online and playing with people on the internet but at first I think it is better for myself to get used to playing it before I venture on to playing the game on the internet.

After I get used to the game, I mite go out and purchase some of the other Guitar Hero Games that is out there to play along with so I will have a good mix of songs.

Have you tired Guitar Hero 5 yet, or are you a guitar hero ‘hater’ let us know!
